Rather than look at a shortfall or where results don’t appear to be forthcoming, try stepping back briefly. There could be benefits to taking your foot off the gas and a realistic stock of momentum that you have created. Yes, results might not be manifesting as quickly as you wish they were. But if you do not already see evidence of it, the action you applied in some ways will soon bring or create a reaction.

Six weeks after returning for what should have been a six week visit to your financial sector Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos instead moves into his final month in direct motion today. It is Mars’ retrograde turn next month that will keep the warrior planet here for the rest of the year, giving you a lot more time to work with him to take your financial power back. That the Moon should leave just as you reach this critical point will not just leave you with your financial instincts and imagination fuelled but aware of a drop in urgency.

Planetary Love

The Moon’s return to an adventurous part of your chart each month is always good news for the line up of planets in your romantic sector but even more so as things prepare to take a more nostalgic turn. All three planets in your romantic sector are in retrograde motion but Uranus is just days away from turning retrograde in an adventurous part of your chart, with a sense of romance, adventure and nostalgia set to deepen.

Try to accept that it’s unnecessary to push for any romantic or relationship progress. You can gain so much more by steering something slowly or gradually that allows you to take calculated steps toward a passionate or intimate goal. A dream can become real, but only if you take surefooted steps – one at a time.

The Moon returns to your work sector every four weeks and once a year, always at some point during the month long wind down of your old solar year it will clash with the Sun to create a Full Moon. This makes Tuesday’s Full Moon an ordinary event but timing and history make this something that could have extraordinary implications. It was just a month earlier that Saturn not only retrograded back out of your work sector but ended seven months of planetary activity. This Full Moon has the power to act as a trigger for all the unfinished business and untapped job potential left behind but the timing takes this to a whole new level. It is over the weekend that Venus will end a four month visit to your career sector, her longest in eight years. Before leaving on Wednesday the Moon will form a friendly aspect to both Venus and to Juno in your income sector, where there is also a lot of history. This has the potential to be a game changing catalyst across the income, work and career fronts.

The Moon has just left your romantic sector by the time we move into the new week but its influence over the weekend will have a spill on effect into every part of the week. These romantically charged lunar vibes were always going to cast a long shadow, as the three planets here absorb its influence. However, it comes just as those three planets are under pressure from Mercury on Monday and Tuesday, with old excuses being challenged. With Jupiter and Saturn now in their final month in retrograde motion here and the doors still open to the past and second chances, these are the right wakeup calls at the right time. On Wednesday the Moon reaches your relationship sector, where like your romantic sector all planets here are also in retrograde motion. Here there is no push back but as it will return as a Full Moon next month, the Moon will be delivering the kind of messages you need to pay attention to.

It is the Moon’s return to your work sector on Monday and the Full Moon this will create on Tuesday that will do more than create an important few days on the job front. The Full Moon will fall at a friendly aspect to Juno in your income sector just as Venus, the planet of money is moving into the final days of her four month visit to your career sector. There has been a lot of history across the income, work and career fronts, with just having the Moon in your work sector a chance to bring the different threads together one last time. However, as a Full Moon this has the power to act as a catalyst for unfinished business and untapped potential across the income, work and career fronts. This is something Venus will work to exploit until she leaves your career sector over the weekend. It is just a few hours before Venus leaves that the Moon will return to your financial sector with a chance to check in.

General

This month, you could feel strongly inclined to apply levels of self-care like never before. A Full Moon on the 3rd urges you to address health issues or finally kick a bad habit. You may also consider unusual or unorthodox ways of doing either or both, too. Your interest in self-improvement is reinforced by the New Moon on the 18th, encouraging detachment and healing. Reacquainting yourself with yourself in some way could become increasingly important from the middle of August onward. But somehow, in some way, a new and improved ‘you’ will emerge.

Love & Romance

With Mercury arriving in your sign from the 19th, you’re bound to find the lines of communication widen in every area of your world. But where matters of the heart are concerned, you could feel noticeably more open and possibly ambitious about what you want and need from a love connection. You’ve processed so many love life lessons recently that have helped you clarify what you want and don’t want in the name of love. Mercury’s arrival in your sign brings that extra bit of clarity that pushes you to start looking forward, once again.

2020 Overview

Taken as a whole, 2020 is a year that demonstrates just how stunning the interplay of cosmic activity can be and how different influences can come together to create a beautiful whole. The dominant force that will greet you as you move into 2020 will be the fun, playful, romantic and creative energy in the air from the get go, which is a mix of the ordinary and the extraordinary. The ordinary because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of every year in a playful part of your chart, yet extraordinary because this is where Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter have chosen to reunite for the first time since 1982. The Sun and the other planets that will visit your romantic and creative sector in 2020 will come and go but Pluto is here all year and Jupiter until 20th December. This makes 2020 your luckiest and most expansive year for matters of the heart and all things fun, playful, romantic and creative in over a decade.

Even Saturn, hard taskmaster of the cosmos and the planet that can give you the power to move mountains has been preparing for this since December 2017, urging you to take this seriously. To have the planets of luck, change and the planet that can give you the power to move mountains all working to make matters of the heart and all things fun, playful, romantic and creative a priority isn’t a problem. However, what could be a problem is that this year the professional gods have some wild cards up their sleeves, over and above the ordinary planetary activity you get on the job front in January and February and on the career front in May and June. It begins with Saturn’s return to your work sector on 22nd March and Mars’ return on 31st March. Both will leave a playful part of your chart to return here and it comes just days before Venus is due to begin a rare four month visit to your career sector, instead of her usual 24 day visit. Mars is only here for six weeks and Saturn will retrograde back out on 2nd July, but this is preparation for major new beginnings when he returns on 17th December and Jupiter on 20th December.

The four months that Venus will spend in your career sector, from 4th April to 8th August, will not only encompass the middle months of the year but much of Saturn and Mars’ time in your work sector and all of the ordinary planetary activity on the career front this year. This is a huge professional surge that will be felt across the job and career fronts, right in the middle of your most important year for all things fun, playful, romantic and creative in a decade. Now I said at the beginning that different influences can come together to make a beautiful whole and what I was referring to was the lunar nodes. On 5th May the South Node will return to your home and the North Node to your career sector, where for the next 18 months they will police your work/life balance, allowing you to have it all.

Love

This year has the right mix of influences on the romantic and relationship fronts, but where on the relationship front it is mainly business as usual, on the romantic front it is anything but. Any year will always begin with the Sun in your romantic sector, with the solar spotlight always on matters of the heart and all things romantic in the first three weeks of every year. Venus, who won’t visit your romantic sector at all in 2020, left just before Christmas 2019 but not before leaving you with your romantic desires and expectations updated and fortunately aware of the this year’s possibilities. For it was just a week after Venus returned to your romantic sector last year that lucky Jupiter returned to begin your luckiest year for love in over a decade, a year that won’t run its course until 20th December.

Jupiter returns to your romantic sector once every 12 years and while this is stunning enough, what makes this visit different is that she returns to find Saturn and Pluto here. Saturn has been here since 2017 and Pluto has not only been here since 2008 but returned during Jupiter’s last visit 12 years ago. This is the first time that Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter have ever come together in your romantic sector in our lifetime and when you have the planets of luck, change and the planet that has the power to move mountains working together, anything is possible. The Sun will leave your romantic sector on 21st January, but the push to get this massive year for matters of the heart off the ground isn’t quite over. That will come when Mars returns, on a mission to fuel your romantic passions and fighting spirit and to exploit the major potential here, from 17th February to 31st March.

Meanwhile, while it is business as usual on the relationship front, business as usual means that you have dreamy Neptune in your relationship sector, where he has been since 2012 and where he will remain until 2026. Venus’ return on 14th January, over a month before the Sun’s return will give the planets of love and dreams a chance to work together, to create some of the most magical weeks on the relationship front this year. Venus’ departure on 8th February means she will be gone by the time the Sun turns the solar spotlight onto your relationships from 19th February to 20th March. Mercury, the planet of communication will give your relationships his support from 16th March to 11th April. However, Neptune won’t spend the rest of the year on his own, with Mars returning to spice things up on the relationship front from 13th May to 28th June.

Money

On both sides of the financial fence, this year has everything you would want and nothing you don’t want, suggesting that this should be a good year on both fronts. What you do have is some common features on both sides of the fence, which suggests a fairly good balance between money coming in and money going out. Unlike other areas of your chart, where there is only planetary activity at certain times of the year, your two money houses have activity for the majority of the year, but in a fairly low key way that won’t ask much from you or demand too much attention. On the financial front, where the focus is on what you do with and how you manage the money you have, you have Eris and Chiron, neither full sized planets but helping to keep things on track. On the income front you have the asteroid Juno, queen of commitment until 20th September.

This gives you the resources needed to keep your hands on the wheel with both income and money matters and it also means that when you do reach the most active points of the year on both fronts that you won’t have a cold start. On the financial front as a whole, this will happen in two waves. The first wave is when the Sun, Venus and Mercury move through your financial sector, which they do once a year and is a chance to take care of financial housekeeping and to update your financial expectations, game plan and resolutions for the coming year. This phase will begin with Venus’ return on 8th February and end with Mercury’s departure on 28th April. However, a second wave will not only begin with Mars’ return to your financial sector on 28th June but will continue for the rest of the year, with the warrior planet of the cosmos not leaving until January 2021.

It is a retrograde phase from 10th September to 14th November that will keep Mars here and the timing couldn’t be better, with the warrior planet of the cosmos heading back to the drawing board in order to let income matters have their turn. The most potentially lucrative months of this year will begin with Mercury’s return to your income sector on 6th September and will extend out to Venus’ departure on 22nd November. This is the reverse of what happens on the financial front earlier in the year, with Venus arriving first and Mercury the last to leave and it is in the perfect order on both fronts. Earlier in the year, Venus is able to create the financial desires and expectations that Mercury was able to take a strategic approach to. On the income front, Venus will return after the work is done, with her ability to attract income potential able to capitalise on that.

Business

It appears to be business as usual in your two professional houses this year but on each front there is a surprise that turns this into a stunning professional year. To start with there is nothing to suggest that this won’t be your typical professional year and by that I mean the planetary activity that takes place on the job front in January and February and again on the career front in May and June. This is when the faster moving planets move through and in the absence of any long term planetary activity on either front, these are the pockets of activity you get. While the Sun won’t return to your work sector until 21st January, as he does every year, you begin the year with Venus already here. While this is an advantage and allows you to begin the year with your heart in the game, a chance to update your wish list and begin the year feeling motivated. This is part of the annual pattern. So too is Mercury’s visit from 17th January to 4th February, with a chance to get your head in the game.

The Sun’s departure on 19th February should and does bring all planetary activity on the job front to a close, temporarily at least. As if changing his mind, Mercury will retrograde back in for a second visit from 5th March to 16th March and while he is only back for 11 days this is a chance to return to the drawing board, just days before major and game changing developments. It begins with Saturn’s return on 22nd March, returning to your work sector for the first time in three decades and Mars’ return just days later on 31st March. While Mars returns every two years, it has been three decades since he last met up with Saturn here, adding to the massive weight this will put behind work and job matters. Mars will leave on 13th May and Saturn will retrograde back out on 2nd July, however this is not the main event but preparation for the main event.

The main event is Saturn’s return on 17th December and Jupiter’s on 20th December, to begin some of the most powerful years on the job front in decades. Not to be outdone, it is just days after Saturn and Mars return to your work sector that Venus decides that career matters need a slice of the pie as well. While the Sun won’t return to your career sector until 21st May, as he does at this time every year, Venus will return on 4th April. This is too early and this far ahead Venus will be forced to wait and instead of moving through in just 24 days, she will stay here until 8th August. This is just as Saturn and Mars are firing things up on the job front in a way not seen in decades. With Venus in retrograde motion from 13th May to 25th June and Saturn from 11th May until retrograding back out on 2nd July, the doors will be open to the past, second chances and untapped job and professional potential at the same time.
