If you feel the need to stand your ground or defend a point, then you’re unlikely to do so out of stubbornness or a deliberate intention to be contrary. You know what you say is right. The matter of principle at stake is one you’re keen to ensure somebody understands. But you can offer a suggestion that could keep others’ focus where it needs to be – and make them feel involved at the same time.

While the Moon has come full circle from last month’s eclipsing Full Moon in Sagittarius to find that the Sun is no longer on the other side of the sky in your relationship sector, it will clash with Venus there today. A day after Saturn retrograded back out of your communication sector and with the Moon stress testing a balance between your personal and relationship needs, this will also test how much you have learnt over recent months when it comes to keeping the communication lines open.

Planetary Love

It was yesterday that the Moon’s return to Sagittarius saw it move into a friendly aspect to Mars, still in the early days of his longest visit to your romantic sector in 32 years. However, with the Moon still here and as they are set to meet up every four weeks for the rest of the year, this is a window into Mars’ romantic passions and fighting spirit.

You might believe an arrangement or ongoing romantic or relationship scenario can continue as it is. But a need to speak your mind about what you want to change could grow more potent now. Any frustration could lead to you instigating a helpful and necessary chat. If it’s reassurance you want, then it can arrive.

Thanks to the Moon’s departure from your career sector on Sunday you are able to begin the week with your professional instincts and imagination fuelled from the get go. It also means that you are just starting to unpack and process the valuable clues, hunches and insights delivered from across the income, work and career fronts. For while there is no planetary activity in your career sector and won’t be until August, the Moon spent the weekend at a friendly aspect to planets in your income and work sectors. This is also a valuable chance to regroup and the fact that the Moon left over the weekend means there was a better chance to download information. This is something that you can benefit from all week but especially midweek, when there will be a call to pace yourself and work smarter. Sharp professional instincts will tell you when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off.

On both the romantic and relationship fronts the dynamics have shifted and there is not only a chance to look to the future with confidence but with a sense of excitement and anticipation. After six weeks in retrograde motion Venus, the planet of love is spending her first full week back in direct motion in your relationship sector and not leaving until August, she is now looking to the future. However, the game changer was Mars’ return to your romantic sector over the weekend and the start of his longest visit in 32 years. Mars will normally spend six to seven weeks at most, fuelling your romantic passions and fighting spirit as he urges you to fight for what you want from love. However, a retrograde turn later in the year will keep Mars here until January, with the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos making the whole second half of the year his playground.

While the lunar nodes left your two money houses in early May there the fallout is still being experienced and with it a chance to exploit the potential this has created. Exactly two weeks separate an eclipsing New Moon in your financial sector and an eclipsing Full Moon in your income sector on Sunday, the last eclipses to be linked to the lunar nodes’ time here. While it is a clash between the Sun and Moon that will create Sunday’s eclipsing Full Moon and this could create some financial tension, with the lunar nodes gone this isn’t something that is constantly there. Instead, with Jupiter and Pluto aligned in your income sector, Saturn returning on Thursday and all three in retrograde motion, the lunar eclipse could act as a trigger for untapped income potential. Meanwhile, with Mercury in retrograde motion in your financial sector but the Sun looking to the future, this could be a trigger for both new and untapped financial potential.

You could be aware of one door closing while another opens. A source of income you’ve relied on could alter drastically or come to an end on or around the Lunar Eclipse on the 5th. Be prepared to deal with upheaval and a brief period of insecurity that accompanies this. But don’t lose sight of how you’re encouraged to be more imaginative and resourceful. Whatever comes to a close urges you to explore an opportunity begging for attention. It might take until after the 20th before you spot this, but you can trust that it will arrive.

Love & Romance

Fantasies could override reality with matters of the heart this month. Towards the end of the month, you could discover where you’ve had an inaccurate grasp or understanding of something or someone. But this doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll kick or chastise yourself. What you see realistically can be integral to forming or strengthening one special connection. Prepare to take confident steps towards a future based on a greater depth of knowledge and understanding.

2020 Overview

The best way to describe in a nutshell what kind of year 2020 will be, before filling in the details, is through the analogy of a house. If 2020 was a house, it is a house that you have been building since as far back as December 2014, which is when you had a three year long hard slog to build the foundations. 2019 was the year you actually got to build that house and 2020 is the year that you finally get to live in and enjoy that house. Except instead of a house, what you have been building is your own future. The three years of hard slog were when you had Saturn in Sagittarius, from December 2014 to December 2017 and the building took place while Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion was in Sagittarius, which he was from November 2018 to December 2019, with a chance now to fully embrace and own the future. While you begin the year with no more planets in Sagittarius, by 3rd January Mars will be here and until leaving on 17th February will work to fuel your passions, drives and competitive spirit. In terms of what you can expect this year the one word that best describes the overall energy and the most powerful theme is ‘abundance’. This is the year when you get to enjoy the fruits of your labour and while this means that this has the potential to be a lucrative year, it is not just about the money. However to have Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto meet up in and spend the majority of the year together in your income sector, for the first time in our lifetime, this has the ability to be a lucrative year. Yet it is important not to focus just on the money, for this is about believing in what you deserve and working with the planets of luck, change and the planet that gives you the power to move mountains in order to get what you deserve across all the currencies in your life. Yet it is not just having these powerful planets in your income sector that makes this a potentially lucrative year, for you have the right kind of professional backup.

Over and above the ordinary planetary activity on the job and career fronts each year, you have Uranus spending his first full year in your work sector and here now until 2026, he is now settled in for the long haul. Any planet moving through your income sector will form a friendly aspect to Uranus and together with activity from the faster planets, this will make the period from 17th February to 12th May some of the best combined months of the year on the income and job fronts. In the meantime both Venus and Mars will turn retrograde this year and that means they will each spend a lot longer in two areas of your chart and in both cases this is exciting. Instead of visiting your relationship sector for 24 days Venus, the planet of love will spend over four months here, from 4th April to 8th August. In the meantime, Mars will return to an adventurous part of your chart on 28th June to spend six weeks fuelling a passion for adventure, but will instead spend the rest of the year here, not leaving until January 2021.

On both the romantic and relationship fronts there are some special surprises this year, over and above what you would normally expect. What you would normally expect is, with Eris and Chiron in your romantic sector for several years to come there is a low key but constant force keeping the romantic flame burning, while things become more active as the Sun and faster moving planets move through in March and April. With no ongoing planetary activity on the relationship front, what you would normally expect is a chance to focus on your relationships, as the faster moving planets move through around May and June each year. You definitely have that but on both fronts, there is so much more. Romantic matters benefit from both a head start and something special on the tail end for while the Sun won’t return to your romantic sector until 20th March, Venus will return on 8th February.

The reason for Venus’ early return to your romantic sector is one of the reasons for something special happening on the relationship front later but at the time is something to simply be embraced. After Venus leaves on 5th March it is not long to wait until the Sun turns the solar spotlight onto matters of the heart, from 20th March to 20th April. Mercury’s visit from 11th April to 28th April will keep things going for another eight days after the Sun leaves, but that should be the end of the most active point of the year for matters of the heart. Instead, Mars’ return on 28th June will not only fire things up again, but a retrograde turn will keep the planet of passion here until January 2021. And this is where romantic and relationship matters have something in common. I mentioned that Venus’ early return to your romantic sector would have implications on the relationship front and not just because she will also be early to return to your relationship sector on 4th April.

This time, with the Sun not returning until 21st May, Venus returns so early that she will be pulled back and instead of spending just 24 days here, the planet of love will instead remain in your relationship sector until 8th August. What you have this year is Venus, the planet of love retrograding in your relationship sector and Mars retrograding in your romantic sector, both staying months longer than they normally would and both holding the doors open to the past and second chances. Venus will open the doors to the past and second chances on the relationship front from 13th May to 25th June, while Mars will hold them open to the past and second chances on the romantic front from 10th September to 14th November. Meanwhile, a lunar eclipse on the relationship front on 30th November will create a bridge between romantic and relationship matters, during this extraordinary year on both fronts.

On the income front, this is not only the year that you have been waiting for, for over a decade now but have been actively preparing for, for just over two years. It was back in 2008, during lucky Jupiter’s last visit to your income sector that Pluto, the planet of change and revolution returned and he has been here ever since. While Jupiter left and each year the faster planets have been and gone, Pluto has continued to work in the background, promoting growth, change and the ability to think outside the square. It was in December 2017 that Saturn, both the hard taskmaster of the cosmos and the planet that can give you the power to move mountains returned. Since then, while Pluto continued to promote change, Saturn worked to provide structure and continuity.

Everything changed with Jupiter’s return in December 2019, with the planet of luck and expansion returning to find that Pluto was still there and that you have spent the last two years preparing for his return. Jupiter returns to your income sector every 12 years, creating your most potentially lucrative year in over a decade. However, the last time you had Jupiter and Saturn together here was in 1961 and never before, in our lifetime has Pluto been here at the time. You begin the year with Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn, the planets of luck, change and the planet that gives you the power to move mountains, working as a team to make this the most potentially game changing income year ever. An alignment between Saturn and Pluto in January has been two years in the making and while Saturn and Jupiter won’t connect directly, Jupiter and Pluto, the planets of luck and change will align three times during the course of the year.

You will always begin the year with the Sun in your income sector and this year Mercury as well, though they will both be gone by 21st January. However, some of the most potentially lucrative weeks of an already lucrative year could be when Mars moves through, from 17th February to 31st March. Saturn will leave from 22nd March to 2nd July but will return to make Jupiter’s final months count. Saturn will leave on 17th December and Jupiter on 20th December, but Pluto will stay on until 2024. While this does put more focus on income matters this year than on money matters as a whole, you have the lunar nodes in your two money houses until 5th May, helping to maintain a balance between money coming in and money going out. There will also be a chance to focus more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have when the Sun, Mercury and Venus move through your financial sector, starting with Mercury’s return on 29th May and ending with Venus’ departure on 6th September.

While the planetary activity on the job and career fronts this year is exciting enough in its own right and more than capable of standing its own ground, what makes this even more important is the major planetary activity on the income front this year. Whether it is Uranus, in your work sector for the whole of 2020 or the faster planets that will come and go from your work and career sectors at different points of the year, they will all enjoy the support of the most powerful line up of planets to assemble in your income sector in our lifetime. However, this goes two ways for to have Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in your income sector at the same time is creating a huge amount of potential on the income front but they need the activity on the job and career fronts to pin this two. This creates a symbiotic relationship between planets across the income, work and career fronts this year. Uranus is the planet that will keep work and job matters on track, but it is when the faster planets move through that things will become more active.

On the other hand, it will only be when the faster moving planets move through your career sector that things will become active there, creating two separate points of the year when things are more active on either front. In addition, with Mars having visited both your work and career sectors last year he will visit neither this year, so it is just the Sun, Venus and Mercury moving through. This doesn’t create a lot of additional focus on work and job matters, but with Uranus keeping work and job matters on track and support from the planets in your income sector, you don’t need a lot. The most active months of the year on the job front kick off with Venus’ return to your work sector on 5th March and will run their course when the Sun leaves on 21st May. It is after the faster moving planets leave that Uranus will keep the momentum going.

On the career front it is a slightly different story and not just because there is no ongoing planetary activity here. When the planets move through your work sector in the early part of the year they will all form a friendly aspect to all the planets in your income sector. However, when the planets move through your career sector they will move into a friendly aspect to planets in your income sector but also to Uranus in your work sector. This period, while the faster moving planets will be focused on career matters, is more likely to draw in and bring into play forces across the income, work and career fronts. This period begins with Mercury’s return to your career sector on 20th August and runs through to Venus’ departure on 28th October. This is a period of just over two months, but as well as a chance to get your professional bearings and to promote career and professional matters, these should be active months across the income, work and career fronts.
