Definition: ‘Return’ is defined as the action of giving back the item purchased by the Buyer to the Seller.
At EventShip, our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us within 3 days of receipt. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise.
Return of products will be accepted only if the products are returned in a saleable condition with the tags intact and in their original packaging, in an unwashed and undamaged condition. Please note that Refund/ replacement for goods/ merchandise is subject to inspection and checking by EventShip team. Damages due to negligence, improper usage or application will not be covered under our Returns Policy.
Following situations may arise:
- Item was defective
- Item was damaged during the Shipping
- Products was / were missing
- Wrong item was sent
- You have changed your mind.
Return could also result in refund of money in most of the cases.
We encourage the Buyer to review the listing before making the purchase decision. In case Buyer orders a wrong item, Buyer shall not be entitled to any return/refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
In case of return eligibility, Buyer needs to raise the return request within the return period applicable to the respective product.
In the event the return request is accepted, Buyer will have to return the product and then the refund shall be credited to the Buyer’s wallet post inspection.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
You have the option of exchanging the item(s) or receiving a refund for the full amount of the item purchased (less shipping charge). Refunds on returned items will be issued to your EventShip wallet.
However, if you opt for having the money transferred back to the source of transaction, it may take up to 7-10 business days for the respective banks to process the refund.
EXCHANGES/REPLACEMENT (IF APPLICABLE)
Definition: Replacement is the action or process of replacing something in place of another. A Buyer can request for replacement whenever he is not happy with the item, reason being Damaged in shipping, Defective item, Item(s) missing, wrong item shipped and the like.
If you need to exchange it for the same item,(You can only get replacement of the same product/item, cannot exchange with any other product/item; Replacement may take time depending on the availability of the same product.) send us an email at [email protected], or contact us via our Contact Us page, or initiate the exchange from your orders page.
In case we don’t have the product at all, we can provide the refund to the Buyer and Buyer shall be obligated to accept the refund in lieu of replacement. All the product parameters shall be required to be complied with in cases of replacement.
RETURNS PICK-UP AND PROCESSING
In case of returns where you would like item(s) to be picked up from a different address, the address can only be changed if pick-up service is available at the new address.
HOW LONG WILL THE RETURN PROCESS TAKE?
Once your return request has been placed with us, it usually takes about 7 Days to complete the return process.
WHERE DO I RETURN MY PRODUCT?
The logistics person will be in charge of picking the product from the customer’s end.
I WAS CHARGED SHIPPING CHARGES FOR MY ORDER. IF I RETURN MY ORDER, WILL I GET BACK MY SHIPPING CHARGE ALONG WITH THE REFUND?
Shipping charge would not be included in the refund value of your order as this is a non-refundable charge.
WILL I BE CHARGED FOR EXCHANGE?
Yes, if the product is of higher price at the time of exchange.
CAN I CANCEL THE EXCHANGED PRODUCT?
Once your exchange request has been placed with us, you cannot cancel the exchange.
IF I REQUEST FOR A REPLACEMENT, WHEN WILL I GET IT?
In most locations, the replacement item is delivered to you at the time of pick-up. In all other areas, the replacement is initiated after the originally delivered item is picked up. Please check the SMS & email we send you for your replacement request for more details.
CAN ITEMS BE RETURNED AFTER THE TIME PERIOD MENTIONED IN THE RETURNS POLICY?
No, we will not be able to accept returns after the time period mentioned in our Returns Policy.
HOW DO RETURNS WORK?
You can raise a request to return your items with these simple steps:
- Log into your EventShip account
- Go to My Orders
- Click on ‘Return’ against the item you wish to return or exchange
- Fill in the details and raise a return request
Once you raise a request, you’ll get an email and SMS confirming that your request is being processed. Based on the item, your request may be automatically approved or you may be contacted for more details. If the request is approved, the item will be picked up after which you will get a replacement or refund.
WHEN IS A RETURN OF AN ITEM NOT POSSIBLE?
We cannot accept returns of item(s) in the following cases:
- When an item is damaged because of use or when it is not in the same condition as you received it
- When any consumable item has been used or installed
- When anything is missing from the package you’ve received including price tags, labels, original packing, freebies & accessories
- When non-returnable items are involved
- When items are tampered with or have missing serial numbers
