If you’ve had to adhere to a strict schedule or burn candles at both ends recently, then you could find that a ball and chain are removed. That’s bound to feel rejuvenating in itself. But if it frees you up to return your focus to a plan or project you had to push aside long ago, then that’s the real icing on the cake. It’s time to revive what motivates and inspires you that has been neglected for too long.

To have the Moon wrapping up its monthly visit to your home and family sector on the same day that Mars moves into his final month in direct motion here is more than the usual intuitive read on home and family matters. This should be the point where the Moon and Mars part ways, not meeting up again here for another two years but instead, sensing that Mars is slowing down this takes away any urgency. In reality, Mars is here now for the rest of the year and when it comes to home, family and/or property matters this allows you to play a long game.

Planetary Love

In terms of distance, Mars has reached a point where he should be just two weeks away from your romantic sector. Instead, Mars is not only slowing ahead of a retrograde turn that means he won’t return until January, even the planets in your romantic sector are slowing down, with a chance coming up for a nostalgic trip down love’s memory lane.

It’s possible that a talent or skill you possess but don’t give much of a second thought to could be what interests a lover or a potential partner. If you’re encouraged to bring this into the open or showcase it in some way, then don’t be shy about doing so. When you dig deep for your creative abilities, amazing things happen. It could be within your emotional world or one special connection that your creative gift helps to form or strengthen a special bond.

For Venus, in the final days of her longest visit to your work sector in eight years, just having the Moon return to your income sector from Monday to Wednesday was going to be an advantage. After four months of working to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction, the Moon’s sharp nose for money will give the planet of money that extra edge as she moves into the home straight. However, this is no ordinary visit, creating a Full Moon on Tuesday that will allow the Moon to not only draw Venus into the mix but Juno in your career sector as well. A month after Saturn retrograded back out of your income sector this is a reunion of forces across the income, work and career fronts and with Venus leaving over the weekend, a chance to push the ‘go’ button across all three fronts. As all three are interconnected and have been for the last four months, it was always going to be a case of where one goes the others will follow.

Despite what might appear to be a challenging start to the week on the relationship front, by the end of the week you will be able to look back and appreciate the opportunity this was. Mercury is spending his final days in your relationship sector under pressure from all three planets in Capricorn, with the potential for some personal and/or relationship tension until he leaves on Wednesday. However, with the planet of communication coming to the end of an over two month visit, this is both a chance to expose any balance issues between your personal and relationship needs and to ensure the communication lines are open. The real value of this will be revealed when Venus, the planet of love finally returns to your relationship sector over the weekend. Thanks to events earlier in the week the communication lines should be open, with a better sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you from the get go.

Just having the Moon return to your income sector during Venus, the planet of money’s final days in your work sector is an advantage. After four months of working to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and to steer things in a lucrative direction, Venus is getting ready to leave over the weekend and starting the week with the Moon in your income sector is giving you a sharp nose for money from the get go. However, this is no ordinary visit, with Tuesday’s Full Moon and its friendly aspect to both Venus and to Juno in your career sector having the power to act as a catalyst. There has been a huge amount of history across the income, work and career fronts this year and with Saturn having just retrograded back out of your income sector a month earlier, this is the trigger that forces across all three fronts have been waiting for. This might be evident at the time but a lot of what is triggered could take weeks to fully mature and materialise.

General

August is likely to commence with you addressing matters related to income. A Full Moon on the 3rd indicates that one source may end. But it also offers a perfect opportunity for another to begin. The key to replacing money-related anxiety or uncertainty lies with having more faith in the ways a talent or possibly an unusual ability can be a moneyspinner. See what transpires on or around the New Moon on the 18th. This offers a green light to make an investment you’ve considered or launch that new income opportunity.

Love & Romance

From August 7, you have Venus influencing partnerships and commitments. This can bring new levels of balance and harmony to a close relationship. Whether you’re single or attached, Venus can ‘sweeten the deal’ and encourage you to allow love to bring more warmth to a special or budding connection. If you’re spoken for and have considered taking ‘that’ particular, bold step, then you’ll do so with the planet of love’s blessing!

2020 Overview

The words ‘big’, ‘best’ and ‘powerful’ are being thrown around a lot this year, mainly because if anything, they are pale attempts to explain the extraordinary energy in play this year. However, for you this takes on a whole new meaning, with the rest of your cosmic mates experiencing a reflected version of what you get to experience firsthand. What makes 2020 such a powerful year is that for the first time since 1982 Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn have come together in order to combine their individual super powers. When you have the planets of luck, change and the planet that gives you the power to move mountains come together then the words ‘big’, ‘best’ and ‘powerful’ only just start to explain the impact. However, it is where they come together that puts you in the spotlight this year, for they have come together in Capricorn. This not only makes this a year for major new beginnings but for you personally this is the year that everything until now has led up to and everything from now will lead on from.

This has not happened in isolation or is something that these powerful planets have sprung on you, for you have been preparing for this year since as far back as 2008. That was when Pluto, planet of change and revolution not only returned to Capricorn for the first time in our lifetime but returned during Jupiter’s last visit. Just as you were embarking on your last 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion, Pluto not only returned but has stayed on, continuing to keep that energy alive. Then in December 2017 Saturn, the hard taskmaster of the cosmos but not only your ruling planet but the planet that can give you the power to move mountains returned. For the last two years, you have been putting in the hard work needed to be ready for the massive new opportunities Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion has returned to deliver. Pluto is in Capricorn all year and Jupiter until 20th December, but Saturn will take some time out.

Saturn will leave on 22nd March and retrograde back in on 2nd July, giving you a break from his more pragmatic ways but then returning to Capricorn in time to bring his own visit home on 17th December and Jupiter’s visit home just three days later. However, where Saturn nips off to is equally important, returning to your income sector ahead of his and Jupiter’s return in December. With Mars returning on 31st March, this will create an unexpected pocket of lucrative activity and the timing couldn’t be better. For on 4th April, just days after Saturn and Mars’ return to your income sector, Venus will return for what should be a 24 day visit to your work sector but instead will stay on for four months, not leaving until 8th August. Out of nowhere and over and above the ordinary planetary activity on the income and job fronts, there are unexpected and exciting developments on both fronts at the same time.

Love

While the hierarchy of every year normally means that the focus shifts onto matters of the heart, usually in April and May before shifting onto your relationships, usually midyear, this time you have romantic and relationship matters occupying most of the year. Or at least that is the case for romantic matters, with relationship matters going off the boil a couple of times during the year, but not to the degree that you would normally expect. Unlike your romantic sector, where you now have Uranus until 2026, there is no planetary activity on the relationship front but still a lot of focus from the get go. That is because the North Node, which has been in your relationship sector since November 2018 won’t leave until 5th May and will make its presence felt during a lunar eclipse on 11th January. What is extraordinary about not only this eclipsing Full Moon but other New and Full Moons this year, is just how many there are.

In any given year, every area of your chart should experience one New Moon, always when the Sun is there and one Full Moon, always when the Sun is on the other side of the sky. This year you not only have two Full Moons and two New Moons in your relationship sector but with each one and New and Full Moon and the other an eclipsing one. You have eclipses because the North Node is here, a force that is naturally drawing your relationships forward in the right direction and if single, is naturally drawing you towards real and authentic relationships. After the lunar eclipse on 11th January the North Node will quietly keep your relationships on track, until leaving on 5th May. This is the first time that things will go quiet but not for long, with Mercury returning on 19th May to give your relationships a voice and to kick off the first planetary activity for the year. Normally here for 14 to 15 days, Mercury won’t leave until 5th August.

Mercury will be here when the Sun not only moves through from 21st June to 22nd July but during two New Moons. The first New Moon on 21st June is a solar eclipse, while a second New Moon on 21st July will be an ordinary New Moon, giving you two chances to commit to your relationships, the future and the journey ahead. Meanwhile, it is a Mercury retrograde phase from 18th June to 12th July that will keep him in your relationship sector until 5th August, just three days before Venus finally returns on 8th August, keeping things in motion through to 6th September. In the meantime, constant planetary activity on the romantic front all year could lead to complacency, which is why Venus’ return on 5th March through to the Sun’s departure on 21st May will be an important time to spice things up.

Money

Sometimes a good start to the year is just that, a happy coincidence that doesn’t extend beyond the early weeks or months of the year and to begin with, this is what you appear to have this year. While the Sun’s return to your income sector on 21st January is something that happens at this time every year, you begin the year with Venus already here. This is definitely in the happy coincidence category, with the planet of money having returned in time to spend the final days of 2019 and the first two weeks of 2020 here. As well as creating some lucrative conditions in the early days of the year, Venus is able to raise the bar on your expectations from the get go, allowing you to begin the year with an income wish list rather than a list of New Year’s resolutions. However, with Venus gone by 14th January and both the Sun and Mercury been and gone by 19th February, this can be put down to nothing more than a good start.

Don’t get me wrong, a good start can be a game changer, setting your expectations high from the get go and setting things off in a lucrative direction. However, this is much more than just a good start, with everything changing in March, after your annual update is over and all planetary activity on the income front is supposedly over for the year. It begins with Saturn’s return to your income sector on 22nd March, for the first time in three decades. Saturn is both the hard taskmaster of the cosmos and the planet that can give you the power to move mountains and as he will retrograde back out on 2nd July, this can be seen as a preparation period. What you are preparing for is Saturn’s return on 17th December and the fact that he will bring lucky Jupiter with him, kicking off some of the most powerful and potentially lucrative income years in decades. However, it is not just preparation for what lies ahead that begins in March, with Mars returning to your income sector on 31st March to exploit income potential now.

To have Saturn and Mars in your income sector at the same time is a huge advantage, one providing the power and the other the motivation to push through glass ceilings. Until leaving on 13th May, Mars will create some of the most potentially lucrative weeks of 2020, which are in turn also preparation for what lies ahead, especially between 2021 and 2023. In the meantime, while there is a lot less planetary activity on the financial front this month, where the focus is on what you do with and how you manage the money you have, the timing couldn’t be better. This will kick off with the Sun’s return to your financial sector on 22nd July, just after Saturn has left your income sector earlier in the month, with no chance of the two clashing. This begins a chance to focus on money matters as a whole through to Venus’ departure on 3rd October, completing this before the focus shifts back onto income matters in December, where it will stay.

Business

This professional year has everything you would want and need and nothing you don’t and while nothing on the job or career fronts is anywhere near as powerful as the planetary in Capricorn, you don’t need it to be. On the one hand, it is business as usual on both the job and career fronts this year but on the other hand, each has that something extra or the icing on the cake. With none of the slower outer planets in either of your two professional houses, it is the faster moving planets and their annual visits to both that give work and career matters what they need and is because there are similar stories on both fronts that make this a settled, stable and good year on both fronts. It is the things that they have in common that adds to this. Mars visited both your work and career sectors last year, so will visit neither this year.

In addition, while both will have the usual points in the year when things become more active, both have an additional factor that is the icing on the cake and both belong to what is known as ‘goddess’ class, the class that offers much but demands little. On the job front the goddess energy is coming from the asteroid Juno, who is known as the queen of commitment. Juno returned in November 2019, just when Mars was preparing to leave and last year’s planetary activity was running its course. Normally here for around two months, this allows you to begin the year with a professional game plan and resolutions and the ability to stay on track. However, a retrograde phase will keep Juno here until 20th September. With Mercury returning to your career sector on 6th September to kick off this year’s most active months on the career front, starting with his return and ending with Venus’ departure on 22nd November, they will take over.

A similar but not identical factor is playing out in the job front, where the goddess influence is coming from Venus, who makes an early return to your work sector on 4th April. As the first planet to reach your work sector this year, Venus is responsible for kicking off the most active months of this year on the job front. As the planet of money, desire and attraction, Venus will spend around 24 days each year fuelling your job confidence, attracting opportunities and working to steer things in a lucrative direction. However, in the same way that Juno’s retrograde turn will keep her in your career sector for 10 months, Venus’ retrograde turn on 13th May will keep her here until 8th August. Juno is in retrograde motion from 4th April to 27th May and Venus from 13th May to 25th June. This will create an overlapping of the doors open to the past, second chances and untapped job and professional potential at the same time from 13th May to 27th May. It is while Venus is here that the Sun will move through from 21st May to 21st June and Mercury from 12th May to 29th May.
